Securing Germany’s digital sovereignty for the future
Xecuro GmbH was established in November 2021 to help develop and operate the new digital system for sensitive communications across the German federal government. The system covers everything from encrypted telephony and video conferencing to the secure exchange of data between ministries and public authorities. Xecuro operates the underlying infrastructure, manages the end-user devices, and will be responsible for service provision. This makes a significant contribution to Germany’s crisis response capabilities and digital sovereignty.
